After the Bulls’ disappointing 42-40 season ending without a postseason appearance, the front office pairing of Gar Forman and John Paxson (through a Jerry Reinsdorf statement) spoke on making changes to better the roster moving into next season.
Techincally, they did that on Friday by acquiring Detroit Pistons guard Spencer Dinwiddie for Cameron Bairstow.
The trade couldn’t have come at a more random time and couldn’t have included any more randomness than Dinwiddie and Bairstow.
It’s a good move for the Bulls, just in case they’re left with a lack of point guard depth this summer.
