Tough day to be the Knicks. Michael Jordan eviscerated New York en route to a 91-84 Game 1 Bulls win, but it was smashmouth basketball at its finest. Observations:

This one was… A bit of a clunker:
Down the stretch of the fourth quarter, the Knicks missed six straight shots (and two straight free throws) and went scoreless for the final 5:15 minutes, too. Hideous. Gritty?
This was a great game for the Luc Longley hive, though. Patrick Ewing shot a paltry 9-for-23 from the field and often appeared reticent to even enter the paint matched up with big Luc.
