The Bulls are rewarding second-year guard Antonio Blakeney with an NBA contract. The Chicago Tribune’s K.C. Johnson first reported Wednesday that the deal is a minimum contract and is expected to be for two years, and Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania corroborated the reporting by saying it’s “a guaranteed two-year, minimum contract.” The Bulls announced the signing Thursday morning.
The Bulls gave Blakeney a two-year, two-way contract last season after the 6-foot-4 guard went undrafted out of LSU. He appeared in 19 games and averaged 7.9 points on 37.
