MEMPHIS, Tenn. – It hasn’t been easy for Lonzo Ball the last two-plus years.
A lot of nights on the couch watching his Bulls teammates from afar hit adversity in games and let those waves pull them under.
So while he’s still on a minutes watch, he’s now with them. And as Monday’s 126-123 comeback win against Memphis showed, his play and voice carry weight.
Thanks to 23 bench points in the third quarter, the Bulls overcame a 20-point deficit to pull out the win, and while Ball only had six points and six assists, he was an impressive plus-16 in 18 minutes of work.
