There are 19 NBA organizations that have an affiliation with a team in the NBA Development League during the 2015-16 NBDL season. That number will jump to 22 as the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and the Chicago Bulls will all have new NBDL franchises for the 2016-17 season.
The Bulls have scheduled a press conference at 2:00 PM CT on Wednesday afternoon at United Center for an announcement on the franchise’s plan to begin a NBA D-League team in Hoffman Estates next season. Officials from Hoffman Estates will attend Wednesday afternoon’s presser.
