One left. Michael Jordan, Luc Longley and a suffocating defensive performance propelled the Bulls to a blowout Game 3 victory in Seattle. Observations:
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Best Defense of All Time
This one was a shellacking from the jump. Before you could bat an eye, the Bulls were up 32-12 with moments to play the first quarter, and they hardly looked back.
Behind their first-half tsunami were, to put it simply, Michael Jordan (we’ll get to him in a bit) and familiarly swarming defense. Midway through the second, NBC flashed a graphic showing the SuperSonics had committed nine turnovers and allowed 16 points off said turnovers, but you could have doubled both those numbers and I would have believed it.
