The Bulls practiced Monday for the first time since their six-game circus road trip ended with a win at Philadelphia on Friday and the big news was that Doug McDermott returned after missing the entire road trip with a concussion.
McDermott was put in the league’s concussion protocol for the second time in a two-week span when he left a Nov. 12 game after a flagrant foul from Washington forward Markieff Morris which resulted in a nasty fall to the ground.
At first the Bulls thought McDermott would return to the team during its trip, but he never left Chicago.
