The Bulls pulled off a savvy trade to improve their roster on the margins by swapping forward Cameron Bairstow for Detroit Pistons guard Spencer Dinwiddie.
I’m shocked the Bulls got anything for Bairstow, who showed nothing in his two seasons with the Bulls. Bairstow played only 167 minutes for the team, shot less than 30 percent from the field, and looked generally awful on the floor.
Dinwiddie hasn’t shown much for the Pistons either though, but the Bulls are getting a project player for almost nothing. It’s a move reminiscent of the one they just made in trading Kirk Hinrich to the Atlanta Hawks for Justin Holiday and a second round pick right before the trade deadline.
