Friday was Star Wars night at the United Center, and during every promotion, the slogan “Bulls Strike Back” flashed on the scoreboard.
Lately, the Bulls (13-13) are about as entertaining as the prequels. Friday’s 95-69 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks was the poorly conceived sequel to Thursday’s dud in Milwaukee. Think of a double feature of The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, but with worse acting.
Collectively, the back-to-back losses to Milwaukee were the Bulls’ worst effort in several years. Part of it is the matchup. The Bucks, to quote a popular phrase around these parts, are younger and more athletic.
