Bulls lose, but the night belonged to Craig Sager

MILWAUKEE — It was the Milwaukee Bucks’ only scheduled TNT game of the season.

A game on TNT is symbolic of a team’s relevance in the NBA, and for decades, it’s meant that there’s a chance Craig Sager would be in the building with his singular fashion sense and even more unmistakeable personality.

This particular Thursday, Sager’s presence was inescapable in the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Sager, the longtime TNT sideline reporter, lost a three-year battle with leukemia on Thursday, passing away at the age of 65. He received a touching video tribute during warmups, as well as a moment of silence before player introductions.
