Bulls local television ratings continue to take a hit this season, too

Last season, the Chicago Bulls saw a 37 percent (!) decrease in their local television viewership because of Tom Thibodeau’s termination and, well … they just weren’t very good and it showed in the ratings.

There’s been another drop-off this season, thanks in large part to the departures of Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose and the fact that the Bulls just aren’t very good.

According to Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal, the Bulls have seen another drop in their rating percentage this season as well.

Here’s John Ourand and John Lombardo from SBJ with more:

The top three teams in the East are down double digits: the Cavaliers (down 28 percent), Celtics (down 15 percent) and the Wizards (down 12 percent).
