On Saturday, August 27th, Chicago police officers joined Youth Guidance Becoming A Man (BAM) students for a BAM/Chicago Police Basketball Tournament hosted by the Chicago Bulls at the Advocate Center. In addition to the basketball games, teams participated in “BAM circles” held throughout the day to facilitate meaningful dialogue around topics such as integrity, positive anger expression and ways to create a culture of peace in Chicago’s communities. Chicago Bulls players Rajon Rondo, Denzel Valentine and Jerian Grant joined Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, Bulls President and COO Michael Reinsdorf, Chicago Bulls Charities President Nancy Reinsdorf, and Chicago Bulls Charities Vice President Leslie Forman in attending the event.
