SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Tuesday will be an anniversary of sorts.
Depending on the perspective.
It was last Dec. 3 that the Bulls front office made just their latest coaching change, firing Fred Hoiberg and promoting then-assistant Jim Boylen to that head coaching chair, and did so without an interim tag attached to him.
A sign of things to come in their leap of faith.
By the end of the 2018-19 season, the Sun-Times first reported that the Bulls were working on an extension to keep Boylen, and a few weeks later they did just that.
