Bulls formula of living in first-half hole starting to cause headaches

NEW YORK – It’s not exactly the “40 Minutes of Hell” that Nolan Richardson’s Arkansas teams famously used to throw at opponents, but Billy Donovan has no problem settling on “24 Minutes of Headaches.”

As Friday showed the Bulls coach, unfortunately, sometimes his own.

The Bulls had a very familiar blueprint in place Friday against the Nets. Not exactly one they hope has staying power, but one, nonetheless. Dig a big deficit, use the depth to come back in the second half, and then finish strong.
