On Saturday afternoon, the Chicago Bulls announced that they have waived four players in preparation for their regular season opener Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Gone from the 20-man training camp-roster are Antonius Cleveland, Derrick Walton Jr., Kaiser Gates, and JaKarr Sampson.
That leaves 15 players and one two-way contract in Arizona product Rawle Alkins. Ryan Arcidiacono, who was on a two-way contract last season, won the final roster spot. He had already signed a (very low) partially guaranteed deal in the offseason.
You probably won’t peruse the list of the guys who the Bulls waived and lose any sleep over it.
