One of the more intriguing questions for the Chicago Bulls this summer was the status of Dwyane Wade’s tenure back home in Chicago. Would the three-time NBA Champion stay for another year or look for one more opportunity at winning a ring before taking his place in the Basketball Hall of Fame someday down the line?
According to the Chicago Tribune‘s K.C. Johnson, the Bulls front office expects Wade to opt-in with his $23.8 million player option for the 2017-18 season and remain in Chicago for at least one more year.
