TORONTO – Vice president of basketball operations John Paxson has shown extreme patience in Year 3 of the Bulls rebuild.
General manager Gar Forman has had his powers somewhat neutered throughout the season, but still has a seat at the table when it comes to decision making.
Both men are going to have to earn their money this week.
In losing to the Raptors on Sunday 129-102, the Bulls dropped to 19-33 with no games left on the schedule to play before the Feb. 6 trade deadline comes and goes. Yes, they are still in striking distance of a playoff spot with one good week, but since when have they put together a good week this season?
