Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf named to basketball Hall of Fame

The NBA announced the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2016 Monday and Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf is among the electees.

Reinsdorf joins Allen Iverson, Shaquille O'Neal, Yao Ming, Tom Izzo and Sheryl Swoopes in the Class of 2016.

Reinsdorf - who also owns the White Sox - has run the Bulls organization since purchasing it in 1985. He oversaw the dominant Bulls teams of the 1990s that won six NBA titles with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
