The hits keep coming for the Chicago Bulls.
One day after the Bulls said Zach LaVine would be sidelined 2-4 weeks with an ankle injury, the team announced Bobby Portis will be out for 2-4 weeks with a sprained right ankle.
Portis, who had been coming off the bench at forward, suffered the injury in the Bulls' 95-93 loss to the Nets on Wednesday night. He had been back only five games after missing nearly seven weeks with a sprained MCL.
Jim Boylen has said he liked the game of rookie Chandler Hutchison, who comes off the bench at small forward and could could slide into the backup forward role left vacant by Portis.
