CHICAGO -- Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu said he has a fracture in the back of his left shoulder and will undergo surgery on Wednesday morning. He will need four to six months to recover.

An MRI revealed a fracture that was at least a year old, according to Dosunmu. He acknowledged feeling discomfort in his shoulder for an extended period but had been able to play through it in the past.

After feeling discomfort during a Feb. 20 game against the Knicks, Dosunmu missed the next three games. He returned to play 23 minutes on Friday night against the Raptors, but said he experienced a different pain than usual during the game.
