These are dangerous times for the Bulls.
Even after losing Friday to the Pacers, coach Billy Donovan’s crew will enter its game Sunday against the 76ers on pace to win 34 games this season — and that doesn’t take into account that they have the easiest remaining schedule in the NBA.
As far as the standings, the Bulls (10-14) are in play-in territory in the Eastern Conference, which is a familiar place for them.
But all it will take is one member of upper management who has made a few good trades playing NBA2K to get the bright idea — yes, that’s sarcasm — of, ‘‘Hey, we’re just as good as the other play-in teams this season, so why not go for it?
