BRANDON, Fla. — Brandon Dubinsky had a red welt running from an inch above his left eyebrow to an inch below his left eye, physical proof, he said, that Florida's Keith Yandle tried to injure him during a scrum at the end of the second period Thursday.
The blurriness that kept him from playing in the third period of a 7-3 rout of the Panthers had improved, so Dubinsky practiced with the Jackets on Friday in suburban Tampa.
But he was still seeing red.
“(Yandle) eye-gouged me,” Dubinsky said. “It's a dirty move. You get face-washed.
