Big man Nikola Vucevic to the rescue, as Bulls down the Wizards

Probably somewhere during the flight to Philadelphia in early March, when Billy Donovan’s crew was looking more like a rotting carcass rather than a serious threat in the Eastern Conference.

Since then it’s become about doing whatever it takes to try and scrape out wins. That was on full display against the Wizards on Tuesday, as the Bulls finally woke up at the start of the fourth and gave a subpar Wizards team the treatment they deserved in the 107-94 win.

They can thank Nikola Vucevic for keeping them afloat.

Not that getting the ball to the big man early on hasn’t been a game plan used often this season, but there’s been far too many games where they’ve established Vucevic early and then seemingly completely forgot he’s on the team.
