NEW ORLEANS -- You may not have heard of Abdel Nader, but he's a Chicagoland prospect on the rise.
Nader has been tearing up the D-League for the Maine Red Claws, averaging 22 points and eight rebounds per game in 28 games this season. He also has some nice range, hitting on 39 percent of his 3-pointers. That sounds like a guy the Bulls could use.
Nader was named a D-League All-Star and had an impressive performance in their game on Saturday afternoon, scoring 16 points. At 6-foot-8 and only 23 years old, Nader has the size, shooting, and youth to give himself a legitimate shot at sticking to an NBA roster one day in the near future.
