Police are warning residents about two vehicle thefts reported this week in Homan Square on the West Side.
In both cases, a man stole parked vehicles that were left running at a gas station in the 3700 block of West Roosevelt Road, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
One incident happened about 10:05 p.m. Sunday while the other occurred about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The man is described by police as 20 to 22 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and weighing 150 to 160 pounds.
