Star point guard Derrick Rose has been the face of the Chicago Bulls since he was drafted, but that might be changing now.
With Rose missing most of the past three seasons and the emergece of Jimmy Butler as an All-Star caliber player, he might be taking the spotlight away from Rose.
“I think people look at me now as kind of, maybe, the face of the Chicago Bulls,” Butler said, via Chicago Mag. “When you think of the Chicago Bulls, yeah, you think Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Pau Gasol, too—but maybe every now and then you think of myself.”
Butler averaged 20 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season while serving as the team's best perimeter defender.
