Here's a promising bit of Bulls news as the Chicago Bulls get set to host the Denver Nuggets tonight--it is looking more and more likely that the Chicago Bulls with finally see the 23rd pick of the 2011 NBA Draft in a Bulls uniform next year.
Héctor Fernández of Spanish radio station Onda Cero is reporting that prized forward Nikola Mirotic may already be getting written off by Spanish franchise Real Madrid as a lost cause to remain in the Spanish League for next season--
"People at Real Madrid know Nikola Mirotic won't play with the Spanish club next season and they are sure he will play with the Chicago Bulls."
Just as recently as a couple weeks ago, Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau made it clear that he had not engaged in talks with the 2014 Copa Del Rey de Baloncesto MVP, and that the possibility of Mirotic joining the Bulls for the 2014-15 season was up in the air.
Nikola Mirotic is just 23 years old, and has played three full seasons with Real Madrid of the Spanish League--averaging 10 points and 4.2 rebounds in just 24.2 minutes per game over that span.
