The Blackhawks have a chance at having a player on every stand of the podium at the World Junior Championship.
Center Philipp Kurashev (Switzerland) faces off against Russia in the bronze-medal game, while defenseman Henri Jokiharju (Finland) meets center Evan Barratt (United States) in the gold-medal game.
Kurashev scored his tournament-leading sixth goal on the power play in Switzerland’s 6-1 semifinal loss to Finland on Friday. He also has an assist for seven points to tie three other skaters for second in the tournament.
Jokiharju also netted a power play goal in the semifinal game.
