Tomas Fleischmann scored his first goal as a Chicago Blackhawk in the second period against the Boston Bruins on Thursday night at TD Garden.
Fleischmann was acquired in a trade along with line mate Dale Weise from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Phillip Danault and a 2018 second-round pick last Friday. Fleischmann, 31, has 10 goals and 10 assists in 57 games this season. He's traditionally played left wing, while Weise has been a right wing.
Weise played his first game with Chicago against Boston, but started on the fourth line.
