Watch: Patrick Kane scores 400th career NHL goal

With a goal in the third period against the Red Wings on Sunday night, Patrick Kane became the fourth player in franchise history to reach 400 goals during his Blackhawks career.

The goal came in the middle of the third period, with Chicago already leading 4-1. During a 2-on-1 rush with Alex DeBrincat, Kane held on to the puck, used his skate to shield the puck from a sliding Filip Hronek, then fired a wrist shot past Detroit goalie Thomas Greiss.

The last Blackhawks player to score his 400th career goal in a game was Marian Hossa, who reached that mark in a 3-2 win over the Islanders on Dec.
