Watch: Blackhawks’ Dominik Kahun scores his 1st career NHL goal

Dominik Kahun scored his first career NHL goal in only his fourth game for the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night in Minnesota.

The 23-year-old winger took a cross-ice pass from Jonathan Toews and sent a shot past goaltender Devan Dubnyk to give the Blackhawks a 2-0 lead in the first period. It was also the second assist of the night for Toews.

Kahun is the first Blackhawks rookie to score his first career goal this season. Defenseman Henri Jokiharju and center Luke Johnson each have at least an assist, while winger Alexandre Fortin is making his debut against Minnesota.
