Trevor Daley will play and Corey Crawford will start when the Blackhawks host the Winnipeg Jets at the United Center tonight.
Daley suffered a neck injury when he collided awkwardly with Chris Thorburn during Sunday’s game against the Jets. Daley accompanied the team to Nashville and skated on Thursday morning. Coach Joel Quenneville said Daley could have played vs. the Predators but given they had this back-to-back, the Blackhawks decided to give the defenseman one more day.
“He was just a little banged up there,” Quenneville said. “He was sore, but back skating within a day or so.
