To everyone’s surprise, the Chicago Blackhawks are currently in a position to make the playoffs.
They are currently 11-6-4, and they have won eight of their last ten.
Somehow, Chicago has overcome the loss of Captain Jonathan Toews and up-and-comer Kirby Dach, found solid goalies in Kevin Lankinen and Malcolm Subban, and have 12 active players on the roster 25 years old or younger. They are competitive and have an edge they haven’t had in a few years. At this point, there is no reason to believe that they won’t make the playoffs.
