CHICAGO -- For much of the season, conversation surrounding the Chicago Blackhawks has been filtered through the lens of what they are not. They are not the team we have become used to seeing over the past decade: ruling the Central Division and storming their way to the postseason.
In fact, with each passing day, it's increasingly likely that the Blackhawks will miss the playoffs altogether. They are not winning at home; their current six-game losing streak at the United Center is the longest since 2005. They are not getting enough goals from captain Jonathan Toews.
