The Blackhawks finished their season on a low note, as Chicago lost 5-4 in overtime to the Stars in the final game of the 2021 season. Chicago ends the season one game below .500.
The Blackhawks started fast, though. Less than a minute into the game, Alex DeBrincat received a pass from Pius Suter and went on a breakaway:
Less than 30 seconds later, the duo did it again. Suter and Dylan Strome forechecked effectively, getting the puck in the corner and Strome got it out to DeBrincat who passed back to Suter for the score:
