Blackhawks goalie Scott Darling will take any start he can get from here on out because there probably aren’t many left.
With the Blackhawks having only three sets of back-to-back games, 21 total games remaining and Corey Crawford wanting to play as much as possible, Darling’s starts will be likely limited over the season’s final month and a half.
Darling arrived to the rink Sunday finding out he was getting an unexpected start against the St. Louis Blues due to Crawford being sick.
For some teams, an emergency start for their No. 2 goalie could be bad news.
