Three different players scored and Kevin Lankinen made 19 saves to extend the Rockford IceHogs’ win streak to four games with a 3-1 victory over the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday afternoon at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Reese Johnson and Philipp Kurashev both scored second-period goals, and Brandon Hagel added an empty netter in the final minute of the game as Rockford (6-5) ended the Marlies’ 10-game point streak.
Matt Read netted the lone goal for Toronto (7-1-2-1), and Kasimir Kaskisuo stopped 28 of 30 shots.
