The Chicago Blackhawks are among approximately eight teams to meet with unrestricted free agent defenseman Mike Reilly at the NHL combine, reports Elliotte Friedman of SportsNet.
Friedman says Reilly's agent Pat Brisson won't say who, but he suspects the Hawks, Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota Wild are among them. Brisson also represents Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane.
The Hawks have been linked to Reilly since early May, prior to him withdrawing from the University of Minnesota in mid-May to turn pro. Reilly will officially become a free agent June 15 and be able to sign July 1.
