The Blackhawks reportedly signed defenseman Cameron Schilling to a two-year deal on Thursday morning.
Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports the deal carries a cap hit of $575,000 per season; the second year of the contract is one way.

The 26-year-old Schilling played most of the last two seasons with the Hersey Bears, the Washington Capitals’ American Hockey League affiliate. He had three goals and 15 assists in 63 regular-season games, as well as three goals and five assists in 10 postseason games with the Bears this season.
