WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), along with the entire Illinois House delegation, honored the Chicago Blackhawks and the team’s 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Championship by introducing a House Resolution in their honor. Rep. Quigley also won Florida goods in his wager with Reps. David Jolly (FL-13) and Dennis Ross (FL-15) over the outcome of the Blackhawks vs. Lightning series.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the Chicago Blackhawks, who overcame the aggressive play and young talent of the Tampa Bay Lightning to win the 2015 Stanley Cup Championship,” said Rep. Quigley. “It is because of the hard work and dedication of every player, coach, and the entire Blackhawks family that the madness is back on Madison Street and Lord Stanley's Cup is back where it belongs, sweet home Chicago.
