Hamburg Police Chief Gregory Wickett confirmed Friday morning that the department is investigating an alleged incident that occurred at the home of Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane last weekend.
"At this time, we are gathering information and awaiting forensic testing results," Wickett said in a brief statement. "We will have no further comment on this investigation at this time."
Wickett did not take questions from the media, and did not offer a time frame for an update on the situation.
The Buffalo News reported Thursday that Kane was the subject of an ongoing investigation. No charges have been filed against Kane.
