Aubry will replace Andrew Allen, who is now a member of the Sabres' coaching staff.
Lake Superior State's Peter Aubry has been hired as the new developmental goaltending coach of the Chicago Blackhawks, the school announced Monday. Aubry will replace Andrew Allen, who was hired as the Buffalo Sabres' goaltending coach earlier this summer.
"I am extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity with the Chicago Blackhawks. As I leave LSSU, I can’t express how highly I think of Damon and Rich as coaches, people, and friends. Great times are ahead for Laker hockey as they continue to take the program in a new and exciting direction," Aubry said in the press release.
