Chicago Blackhawks defensemen Duncan Keith is out four to six weeks following surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee, the team announced Tuesday. The six-week timetable means the Hawks will be without the two-time Norris Trophy winner for 18 games until Dec. 1. His absence presents a big void on the blue line for Chicago.
The Hawks host a trio of former players in Brian Campbell, Dave Bolland and Brandon Pirri when the Panthers visit Thursday at the United Center.
