Tyler Sikura and John Hayden scored two goals 45 seconds apart to lead the Rockford IceHogs, the Chicago Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate, to a 4-2 win over the Manitoba Moose, the Winnipeg Jets’ minor league team, in Game 1 of the Central Division final Friday at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg.
Victor Ejdsell and Cody Franson also scored, while goaltender Collin Delia stopped 24 shots in the win.
Game 2 is at 4 p.m. today at Bell MTS Place.
