Morning Bag Skate: Quenneville ties Arbour, Blackhawks win 8th straight

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville earned his 782nd NHL victory to tie Al Arbour for second all-time with a 3-2 victory against Nashville Predators on Tuesday at United Center.

Andrew Shaw (two goals) and Marian Hossa (two assists) each had a two-point game to help the Hawks (28-13-4) extend their season-high win streak to eight games. The Hawks, who have won its past five home games, trail Dallas by just two points for the Central Division lead.

Richard Panik, who joined the Hawks on Tuesday after dealing with visa issues, made his first start for Chicago as Artem Anisimov was scratched due to an illness.
