Morning Bag Skate: Michal Rozsival has successful ankle injury, out 12-16 weeks

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsvial will miss 12-16 weeks after he underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured left ankle, the team announced Tuesday.

Day 5 without Hawks hockey, but at least the team is getting rest. The Hawks' AHL affiliate, Rockford IceHogs will be in action Wednesday night when they look to climb out of a 2-0 series deficit against the Grand Rapids Griffins (Red Wings) in Game 3 of their Western Conference Semifinal at BMO Harris Bank Center.

Eight games down, eight to go for the Hawks.
