Morning Bag Skate: Brandon Saad, Blackhawks crush Penguins

Brandon Saad had a trick in his return to the Chicago Blackhawks, who opened their season with a 10-1 blowout win against the two-time reigning Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday at the United Center.

Ryan Hartman had five points (one goal, four assists) and Patrick Kane had four points (one goal, three assists). Hartman’s five points lead the league.
