Morning Bag Skate: 12-30-18

Patrick Kane scored twice, including the game winner, to lift the Blackhawks to a 5-4 overtime victory over the Avalanche on Saturday at the Pepsi Center. Chicago heads to South Bend, Indiana, where they’ll face the Bruins on Tuesday for the Winter Classic.

IceHogs goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 41 saves, but Dylan Coghlan pushed the Wolves to a 2-1 win over Rockford on Saturday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the NFC North Division champion Chicago Bears visit the Vikings on Sunday. The Bulls take on the Raptors in Toronto.
