Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin said he "was not aware" of any allegations regarding Chicago Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich in 2010 when he worked in the front office.
Bergevin, whose Montreal team is preparing to play in the Stanley Cup Final, began his management career in Chicago from 2008-2012 and was the director of player personnel in 2010 when the Blackhawks reportedly had a meeting to discuss sexual assault allegations involving Aldrich.
"It came out recently, there was a meeting that I heard that was done in Chicago, I was not part of any meeting, and I was not part of any decision based on that," Bergevin said in a pre-Stanley Cup Final press conference on Sunday.
