Marc Crawford has officially been reinstated by the Blackhawks and will make his return behind the bench on Thursday in Vancouver, where he spent seven seasons as the Canucks' head coach from 1998-2006. The 58-year-old assistant coach was away from the team for exactly one month as the Blackhawks conducted an internal investigation regarding his alleged mistreatment of former players while with other organizations.
Crawford acknowledged that and apologized for his past behavior in a statement through the team on Dec. 16, where it was revealed he sought counseling in 2010 and will continue to do so, like he has been.
